Joey Atkins has been training as an actor since age 7, starting with Speech & Drama in 2000 also incorporating Theatre Sports in 2004 at his primary school. He has continually enrolled for courses with NIDA & ATYP since 2002 til present day in both term and holiday workshops, and has completed a course in Shakespeare at ATYP in Terms 1 & 2, 2007. He has also completed acting classes at Brent St and two camera workshops with Toni Higginbotham Casting in 2006.
He is currently attending Talent Development High School at Fox Studios and is enrolled in the Drama stream whilst simultaneously finishing Year 10. Studies include script writing, Shakespeare studies, improv, script analysis, theatre studies and screen work. |
